A downloadable game

Knaves of Cairn is a mix of popular systems: primarily Knave by Ben Milton, but with some favored mechanics from Cairn by Yochai Gal. The goal was to create a system that a guide (GM) with some TTRPG experience could use to introduce players with no prior experience to basic principles of tabletop gameplay, and hopefully allow them to enjoy a one-shot adventure together, getting a good sense of how TTRPGs work and what they make possible, all in the space of a single session.
